What BIMI readiness means

BIMI can help eligible brands publish logo information for supporting mailbox providers. SenderReady checks public sender-readiness signals and explains where BIMI setup may need DMARC enforcement and brand-logo review.

What this checker reviews

BIMI records are usually published at default._bimi.yourdomain.com and point to a logo asset, with some providers also expecting a verified mark certificate or similar brand evidence. SenderReady treats BIMI as a readiness signal, not a promise that a logo will appear.

BIMI is optional. It usually depends on a domain having DMARC at enforcement, such as p=quarantine or p=reject, plus provider-specific logo and brand requirements.

This check cannot confirm mailbox-provider logo display, trademark status, certificate issuance, or final brand approval. Use it as a diagnostic step alongside DMARC, DKIM, SPF, and brand administrator review.

BIMI FAQ

Is BIMI required for bulk sending?

No. BIMI is optional. Bulk sender requirements focus on authentication, alignment, complaint rates, unsubscribe handling, and related sender practices.

Why does DMARC enforcement matter?

BIMI is designed to build on authenticated mail. Many BIMI programs expect an enforced DMARC policy so the domain has stronger protection against unauthorized use.

Does a BIMI record make my logo show everywhere?

No. Logo display depends on mailbox-provider support, policy checks, brand requirements, image format, and certificate or verification rules where they apply.
